The reason I chose .com is because this domain is what users tend to associate websites with. This would most likely create more traffic through my website if it were up and running.
Also, the domain would only cost me $11.28 per year to have, which is not expensive at all.
By visiting hostgator.com, I decided to go with the "Baby Plan."
Starting off, the Baby Plan is only $4.50 a month for the first 36 months before renewing at $16.49 a month. I figured the Baby Plan was a good starting option as opposed to the other, more expensive options.
